Hollywood, Women, and Sarah Palin
Posted by Republican Bumper Stickers on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 6:02:58 PM
Something is kind of troubling to me. I just watched a clip where the likes of Sigourney Weaver, Sheryl Crow, and Anne Hathaway basically trash Sarah Palin and whine about her not being ready for prime time. Yes, the cerebral Sigourney Weaver says that the comparison between her and Palin ends at the fact they both wear a skirt. Anne Hathaway says that the Tina Fey impression of Sarah Palin is "spot on" because she avoided answering questions at the debate. And then what about Madonna saying that Sarah Palin wasn't invited to her show?
Do you have young daughters or nieces? Then I'd like to know, who would you rather have those young girls look up? Someone like Sarah Palin or these women who have taken their marginal talents and their sex appeal and have somehow been able to carve out careers. Really. Who is the bigger embarrassment to female achievement?
